Sometimes it’s the simplest subjects that require the most earnest work of a photographer. To capture the honesty of one’s feelings in a certain moment, reflected in the surroundings and in the eyes of other - is exactly the challenge I set for myself in this series of shots taken in Janów Podlaski in the east of Poland in December of 2020.
