What constitutes a family portrait?
Taking these photos during a leisurely spring walk in Park Skaryszewski, I have learned that what is needed is a tender and a careful eye - one that observes and decides the right moment, but does not intimidate or overstep the boundary of its subject.
What portrait photography often does is it isolates - needlessly.
The ease of the photographer makes the sitter feel at ease with themselves, it reduces the physical boundary of technology, and allows for finally, having some fun!
Portraying a candid moment like that, also calls for capturing the beautiful surroundings - it makes it a more complex and complete image - a 360° view.
